Les Gets (Chavannes and Mt Chery lift) will be opening a week early for mountain bikes on weekends only from May 30th until June 19th. And then from then on full time.
Goodness knows how, there is more than a normal amount of snow about at the moment!
Looks like the “main” lifts will be open June [...]

Provisional Lift opening dates for 2009 are: November 23rd, 2008
Mt Chery had between 20 and 50cm of fresh powder after the last couple of day’s snowfalls. The snow had obviously come down on quite a wind because some aspects were completely scoured. October 30th 2008. 20cm down at 1000m and 40ish up at 1700m. I missed out on this in favour of a family trip back to the UK. Not bad for October! It didn’t last long though! September 5th, 2008
The last weekend of lift opening in the Portes du Soleil, we did various circuits of Morzine and Les Gets with the lads from Bikeworks in Albuquerque. |
