Well there was too much snow for the 3 Audi’s parked under this carport in Morzine. I had been out for a snowshoe up the same valley (Valley de la Manche) and noted with sadness 2 signpost “covers” – the pretty little roofs they build over the signposts around here had broken. A Ski Mountaineering relay race in Morzine. Start at the Tourist Office, one of the team (of 2) runs up to the Pleney stad and “runs” up to the top of the visible section, then skis down through the gates, tags partner, repeat twice.
